Stay In Touch

Please help us "Find" you by "Staying In Touch" with us.

It will only take a few minutes and we guarantee it will not obligate you to buy anything or to do anything whatsoever. It is free and painless.

If you have already Signed In To Stay In Touch, and if you have clicked on the "Edit Profile" button next to your name, you will be brought back to this page. When that happens, just scroll down a little and you will see where you can ask to be sent the information you will need in order to edit your profile. You can edit your profile as often as you wish.

Here's how this feature works and how it deals with privacy issues:

When you click the "ADD YOUR PROFILE" button (found at the end of this message) you will be taken to a very simple and easy to use "fill-in-the-blanks" form.  Please provide as much information as you can.  At the bottom of the form, you do not need to upload the "then" and "now" pictures, if you don't want to.

We promise we will not use any of the information you give us for any purpose other than reunion business. In further regard to your privacy, simply tell us, in the "comments" box (on the form) if you do not want your name to appear on this page.  Just type "keep my info private", or something similar, and your name and information will not be displayed anywhere on this website. We will, however save your information (privately)so we can have clues for how to contact you when we have renuion news to share.

If you don't say one way or the other, we will go ahead and display an entry for you in the section below, but we will automatically withhold your email address and other contact information from public view. The "Send This Person a Message" feature does not reveal any of your private contact information to the sender. You, and you alone, will have the option of revealing your email address to the sender by replying (or not) to messages sent to you with this feature.

PLEASE NOTE:  A real live person must review each and every 'Sign-In' entry to make sure we catch and follow all special instructions (if any) and to also make sure the submitted content is appropriate. For that reason your information will not appear on these pages as soon as you submit it. In fact, it may not be published here for a day or two, although we are usually much faster than that. Please be patient.

Thanks for dropping in and thanks for helping us update our lists. ...... The Reunion Committee.

I have been married to Gloria since 1969, have one son, and one grandson. We started our own business in 1986 and since then have lost track of time, our sanity, and everybody we ever knew. So, a big “Hi” to all.

It has been so long since I have lived permanently in the US, I am very out of touch. I live in Papua, Indonesia. I have worked there in the interior as a linguist- Bible Translator since 1979. I work with a people group called the Iau (Their spelling Y⁸av⁷). The web address above is an attempt to begin documenting some of the information and data I have collected over the years. It might be of interest to some of you. I am a long way from retirement. There is still lots to do for them. I am in the States for a 6 month furlough and was planning to return mid May but I am going to try to come to the reunion if I can. Feel free to contact me if you would like to re-establish contact once again. Janet
PS Can't find my old photos. The "THEN" photo is from 1980 when I began work with the Iau people. If I find them I will update my photos.

So many great memories for me of RHS and all the friends that were important to me then and still are. Planning our 50th reunion is a labor of love and I can speak for the entire committee that we are so excited about it and hope it is a huge success. I want everyone to want to come but then I know that is not reality so I just hope for the best turnout possible. My life to this point has been nothing spectacular but one I wouldn't change. Married my high school sweetheart and the "forever after" was not possible but we had two children which I am so grateful for and then Mr. Wonderful came along and we will be married 32 years next anniversary. I am fortunate to still have my Dad with me every day and being retired is like a never ending vacation. Life is a journey....enjoy the ride!

The years have dimmed my vision it's true and the miles have taken their toll. I need to stop every now and then, just to catch my breath you know. I stop and ponder at times where I've been and the things I have done. The memories of a life time. Each precious moment re-lived with frighting clarity or muddled with times soothing kindness. I know my memories of Sarasota are like that. But we were special, our class was special and the times we lived in were very special. And we did enjoy them so. I'm sad I didn't graduate with the class, my feet too restless to stay, my brain too full of the tales of other places. But My heart was there. Still is. TerryB. 2007

Gad Zooks! Can't believe its been 40 years...Hope everyone is healthy and living the good life. I'm married to my 2nd husband. We've been together 30 years. He has 4 kids by another marriage. I have none. Working part time at a shoe repair in Virginia and enjoying it. We shoot tournament archery throughtout the summers and bowhunt in the winters. We built our own log house from scratch and it's quite cozy. I often think of Sarasota especially where I grew up at New Pass and the kids I hung around with...you know who you are!!! The "then" picture is my favorite tomboy shot. Love to everyone. Cay Byrd McManus

I have been married for 23 years, have a tremendous family, one son, and 3 grandchildren.

I get down to Sarasota occasionally and am constantly amazed at how much it has grown.

My best regards to everyone in the SHS class of 66. Many of RHS grads were also friends at Brookside Middle.

Perusing through the bios and photos has been quite a gas!  What a pleasure to read the variety of talent and experiences our class is contributing to society.  I've been able to travel and live overseas throughout my adult life -- mostly with my wife since '84, June. Incidently, she was Burdine's Display Manager in South Gate and drove the Edsel convertible for display in the store back in '76 -- if you recall that past oddity.  I retired five years ago from the State Department, and we chose to remain in Washington in a "cozy" (small) condo overlooking Rock Creek Park. We love the arts and museums here, but still reminisce to friends here about going to the Aslo and the Ringling Museums.

Haven't heard from many Sarasota folks since I left 41 years ago after my junior year. I haven't had any opportunities to return, but I still consider SHS "my school" and still wear my class ring.
